The 2017 - 2018 Academic School Year will mark my 8th year as a professional educator in Georgetown County.  I am excited to be amongst the greatest students and faculty in Georgetown, and I am absolutely positive that this will be one the best school years for the students, and for myself.  I look forward to teaching the future leaders of this great county, state, and country.

I am a South Carolina native who moved to the Pawleys Island area, from Simpsonville, S.C., in the summer of 1989.  I have always enjoyed sports and the outdoors.  My love for both motivated me to transition from the traditional sports of football and baseball, to the water sports that have come to dominate the Low Country; surfing and wake boarding.  In the Fall of 2002, I met my wife Tiffany, whom I owe everything to.  She has truly been a miracle in life. Together, we have two beautiful children; Lucy (7) and Brock (5). I love teaching, and I look forward to making a positive impact on the students of Georgetown High School.
