My name is Robert Scott, and I live in Hemingway, South Carolina. Currently, I am teaching math at Georgetown High School. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Benedict College – Columbia, South Carolina, Master of Education from Cambridge College – Cambridge, Massachusetts, Master in Administration from Grand Canyon University – Phoenix, Arizona and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University – Atlanta Ga.

I have been involved in education for approximately 34 years. During those 34 years, I taught math for 16 years at Hemingway High School in Hemingway and one year at Conway High School. I also worked four years as a Curriculum Specialist with South Carolina Department of Education and three years as Math/Science Coordinator and Data Analysis for Williamsburg County School District in Kingstree, South Carolina. During the 2009-2010 school year, I worked with the South Carolina Department of Education in the Office of Palmetto Priority Schools analyzing data for 38 low performing schools that had not met AYP for at least 3 years with a school report cards rating of at-risk. I am currently working at Georgetown High School.
