  • ***PLEASE see the bottom for RESCHEDULED/CANCELLED ATHLETIC EVENTS!!! 
  • Jostens will return on Thursday, September 27 for Senior Graduation orders/Junior Ring orders. They will be set up in the Commons Area during all three lunches. 
  • The NJROTC Fundraiser with Domino’s will be this Friday, September 21 during lunch. Pizza slices are $2 and the NJROTC World Famous Tea will be $1.
  • If you are a Junior or Senior and have completed 2 Honors level science courses and/or are currently taking a second honors course, and wish to join the Science National Honor Society- please see Mrs. Palmer Room 226 for an application packet. Completed applications are due no later than Friday, September 21st.
  • The PAWS Chick-Fil-A sale scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14 has been POSTPONED to Friday, September 28.  Season passes and pre-sale tickets will be sold on Sept. 24 and 25 during the lunches. Ticket prices are $5 for a sandwich and $7 for a combo. Ticket prices will increase by $1 on Chick-fil-a Day. Jump to the head of the line with your Chick-fil-a Season Pass - $25 for all year! 
  • HOSA will meet in Room 274 on Monday, September 24 at 3:10p.m.
  • The Interact Club meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 26 immediately after school in Ms. Pieterse’s room, Room 221.
  • Seniors and Graduating Juniors planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university are encouraged to sign up in Guidance to attend a College Bound Senior Meeting which will be held during 2nd block on Monday, October 1st. Students must sign up by Thursday, September 27th to be able to attend.
  • The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 10th beginning at 8 A.M. Juniors interested in taking the PSAT, to possibly qualify for scholarship monies, must register in the Guidance Office by October 1st.  The cost for the test is $16.  Space is limited.  See Mrs. Owens with questions and to pick up a permission slip. 
  • 11th and 12th Grade Students who are interested in taking the ASVAB military assessment, please sign up in the Guidance Office. ASVAB will be given on Thursday, October 11th. The last day to sign up will be October 8th.
  • Francis Marion Decision Day will be Thursday, October 4th. An admissions representative will be here to meet individually with registered Seniors to discuss opportunities to the college. Students must register and return a completed application to the guidance office by 3:15pm Monday, October 1st in order to be assigned an appointment time.
  • Prom fees are currently $25 for students and $15 for guests. Please pay fees to Ms. U. Brown in Room 242. Fees increase on October 26.
  • PAWS Class Spirit T-shirts are on sale! You can represent in this long sleeve Bulldog shirt with your graduating class year on the back. Shirts are $15 for PAWS members and $20 for nonmembers. 
  • Picture Day will be POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
  • Students who are interested in purchasing the yearbook should stop by Mr. Walker’s room, room 116, and pick up an order form. The price is $65 until September 21. Students can order online or bring a check. Order yours today and be a part of history! 
  • Any students interested in attending one of the Military Service Academies, please stop by the guidance office and see Ms. Owens for more information.

SPORTS

  • The JV Football team will meet Waccamaw tonight (Sept. 20) at Waccamaw. Kickoff is at 7:00p.m.
  • The Lady Bulldogs Tennis Team’s match scheduled for Thursday, September 20 against Waccamaw will be played at East Bay Park beginning at 4:30.
  • The Cross Country Team will go to Andrews this afternoon for a meet with Andrews, Carvers Bay, Hannah Pamplico and Manning. The meet begins at 5:30 p.m.
  • The Lady Bulldogs JV and Varsity Volleyball teams will be travelling to Bishop England on Sept. 20. Games will start at 5:00pm and 6:30pm.
  • The JV Lady Bulldogs Tennis team will be hosting Waccamaw at Stables Park on Wednesday, September 26. The match will begin at 4:30p.m. This is a reschedule.
